Grand Hotel Villa Torretta Congress Centre and Hotel is a 17th-century building complex, nestled at the edge of the scenic Parco Nord in Milan, and once belonged to Milan's most illustrious families. Villa Torretta has been exclusively reserved to host the EDA Congress in its entirety, with its modern auditorium, parallel meeting rooms, fine restaurant, and many rooms for delegates who wish to share their experiences with their peers - full immersion in delirium.
The award-winning dining facilities of Villa Torretta will make it an ideal and convenient location for the EDA welcome dinner on the 2nd November and the EDA congress dinner on the 3rd November.
For a better service to our delegates and supporters, the 16th EDA Conference has made a special arrangement with the Conference venue (Grand Hotel Villa Torretta), as the Congress official housing bureau. From Malpensa Airport
Get the Malpensa Express shuttle train to Garibaldi railway station (train bound for Stazione Centrale). Get the M5 Purple metro line, and after 8 stops exit at Bignami station.
If you wish to get a taxi, the fixed price is 100 euros. Ask the driver for this fare.
From Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport
There are several shuttle companies connecting Bergamo Airport to Milan Central Station. Once you arrive at the Central Station get the M3 Yellow metro line bound for Comasina. Change at Zara (2 stops) to the M5 Purple line. After 6 stops, exit at Bignami station. If you wish to get a taxi, the fixed price is 110 euros. Ask the driver for this fare.
From Linate Airport
The quickest way is to get a taxi. Otherwise, take bus 73 to Duomo, get the M3 Yellow metro line to Zara (6 stops), and change here for the M5 Purple line bound for Bignami. After 6 stops, exit at Bignami station.
From Garibaldi Railway Station
From Garibaldi station get the M5 Purple metro line. After 8 stops, exit at Bignami station.
From Central Railway Station
From the Central Station get the M3 Yellow metro line bound for Comasina. Change at Zara (2 stops) to the M5 Purple line. After 6 stops, exit at Bignami station.
The hotel is only about 500 mts from Bignami station.
We recommend downloading a GPS app like CITYMAPPER or GOOGLE MAPS for getting around. Public transport in Milan is safe and efficient.
Free floating bikes, mopeds and e-scooters like LIME, MOVI and FREE NOW, are available throughout the city.
