It is our pleasure to announce that the 5th EUPLAN International Conference will take place in Milan on September 28-30, 2022.

Originally planned for 2021, the meeting has been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and will now be organized in a safe location at the University of Milan, making sure to host all the attendees in full compliance with the required safety and prevention measures.

As usual, the meeting is expected to bring together senior scientists and young fellows in an informal atmosphere. We will have six invited speakers providing state of the art lectures and a selection of oral presentations covering a broad range of topics in platelet and megakaryocyte biology, from basic science to recent advances in clinical studies.

In the last two years many scientific meetings have been cancelled or converted to virtual events. We all feel the need to return to discuss about platelet science in person, meet old friends and make new ones, establish new collaborations.
